Mega Database 2010 - more than 4.5 million game! The largest top-class annotated database in the world. Contains more than 4.5 million games from 1560 to the 20th November 2009 in ChessBase format (.cbh file). 65,000 games contain commentary from top players. ChessBase databases are known throughout the world as being of the highest quality - with features like standardised spellings of player names (no more Korchnoi, Kortchnoi issues ever again!). Also features ChessBase opening classification with more then 100,000 key positions, allowing you direct access to the games of specific players or tournaments, middlegame themes and endgames by material. The most recent games included on this database are from November 2009 so will include tournaments such as the Tal-Memorial, Linares, Nanjing, Bilbao, Dortmund and the Grand Prix tournaments. Mega Database 2010 also features a new edition of the playerbase. As usual, this is where most of the work was done.
